Today At Billy Goat Bicycles in St Louis
Dropped in to kill some time and found a bit of treasure. It is a DeLay's Special by J. DeLay of Chicago. Dirk dates it 1890s, Mike dated it 1910s. It is being prepared to go to a new home on the east coast. What you see is what there is, but it's way cool that much is still there.
Anyone know of this marque? I found nothing on the net.

Pretty cool. I was in there Saturday, searching around for a tubular. Bought from Mastik from Dirk.
Billy Goat's is worth a trip just to see the unique display bikes. Excellent wrenches.
I was in need of a back tire, and they were willing to lend me a wheel, all set up, if needed.
You don't get that kind of service just anywhere. My first choice in STL, for sure.

that's pretty neat!
One of Ray's old bikes, or a new addition to the shop?
I was down there last fall and checked out the shop for the first time in over 2 decades. Lots of fun older stuff and many homages to Ray. Had a nice talk with one of the owners about their vintage collection and places to ride outside the urban area. Glad that they are able to keep the place in business and have some fun at the same time.
