Mystery Canadian brand..

Hey,
Wondering if anyone recognizes this vintage logo..no name or model on bike, there is a made in Canada sticker on the seat tube near the BB, serial number is on back of seat tube under seat...can't find anything that looks like this decal, it's in 2 places so that makes me think it's not just some random sticker..TIA

I'm seeing a single image of a beaver without a care in the world.

From the serial number the frame was manufactured by Raleigh Canada in 1978.

Just googled beaver lumber, apparently used to be one a block from my house, I guess my young age is showing that I have no memory of it

Beaver Lumber. Store colours used to be yellow and green if I remember correctly. Spent some time in my childhood riding on wood carts around the store.

Yups, I've still got a cloth apron in the shop that I use often. Even garments were made better in the old days,

I concur, that's definitely the Beaver Lumber mascot. As noted by Hummer, the frame was manufactured by Raleigh Canada in 1978, specifically March, so it's a 1978 model. We also had a Beaver Lumber store in my home town but I don't recall them carrying bicycles. I'm wondering if this was a special promotional item, like Tim Hortons bicycles, as opposed to an actual house brand? That might help explain the absence of actual 'brand' decals on the bicycle.
