Normandy vs. Normandy Sport Hubs

Is there a difference? If there is, what is it and how can I tell? My Motobecane G.J. came with some Normandy hubs (laced to Mavic rims) and the catalog specifies Normandy Sport for the G.J. and Normandy Alloy for the G.T.

Good question. I looked on velobase.com and they have a number of hubs listed. I couldn't find whether there is a significant difference. Interesting that they listed Maillard Normandy, Sachs-Maillard Normandy and Sugino Normandy hubs.

Normandy and Normandy Sport are synonymous.

Doesn't one have a hardened race and hardened axle nuts? I have rebuilt a few sets and scavenged races from others but I don't remember which is which. FYI sure is a PITA to remove races from those hubs.
