this is super hard.... 84 Team Miyata or 85 Team Miyata (had a de rosa and it was gorgeous, but it is middle of a build by another forum member so he has bragging rights....and I expect it to be pretty, very pretty)
ok picked the 85, the paint is in way better condition, the blue seems a little more saturated and the black accents got better with components.

Wow, Sweet color! I have the same problem with a light colored Lotus I am working on. Here's a tip that might help you. Buy some party/wrapping ribbon in the colors you are thinking about. Do some mockups. That's better than taking a chance. The Lotus I am working on has gold lined decals. I had this idea that gold housing and tape would work. So,
Uhhhhh, no! Not feeling it, or the camo that came on it either. Not feeling the blue tires or housing as well.

There was a Colnago that got posted on the "Looking for" thread a month or 2 ago with similar paint. Above my level, but I bookmarked the listing so I could dream from time to time. It's still there.

It’s looking like my frame geometry & setup is just a tad bit different from the rest of those gorgeous road bikes but...you asked🤣

Just finished this build, and it's definitely the prettiest in the stable. Not fully CV, but I think it'll pass. Modern Neuvation wheelset posing as vintage campy Zonda/Shamal.

My Davidson Signature isn't the flashiest bike I have in my stable by a long shot, but its classy, understated beauty and superb frame craftsmanship is what makes me consider it as actually the prettiest bike I have.

I suppose it’s a matter of taste. I didn’t even think it was close. Which one were you thinking? The Grand Record or the 650B Grand Jubilé?
