Bar sleeve twist damage

Looks like they've taken a fair force through the sleeve. Can't recall what these were on but was about to put them on a build. Is this a fatal piece of damage?

Looks like a pair of the old Japanese Champion bars. I wouldn't use them cuz you'll never get even clamp pressure around the bar. Failure beckons..

Should buff right out:-) Joking, of course.

In all the bikes that have come my way, never once have I seen that. Bent in towards the middle, not that uncommon. Just crooked, due to a crash or impact, not all that uncommon. Even one time a bar that let go at the sleeve. But never a torn sleeve. Learn something new every day. Sadly...

At my age, you forget ten learned things in the same period of time. At least I think so?
