90s Cannondale cable guide
Bought a bare 2.8 frame which I've dated to abotu 1996. Anyway the bottom bracket cable guide was missing. It's an AL frame with thick walls and welds so whatever guides I have in the bin - anyone have a pic of one or know where I can obtain one?

The problem is I dont know what it actually looks like. The oldest guide I could find (the KF002) i lited for a CAAD8 and my 2.8 from '96 is I think CAAD2 or 3 era. I have cruised image search but its quite hard to find a pic of the bottom of the bottom bracket .

Not sure what year and model exactly you need, but here is another option. KF002 fits my 2006 CAD8. Cannondale Experts
Also looks very much like the guides on my 97 and 98 CAAD2 bikes

I would think there is a bit of interchangeability between road models. The plastic flexes easily, and this was pre-BB30 and all of that mess. The diameter of the BB shell will be more or less the same, so that shouldn't be an issue. The cables all run from the same area to the same area, so this need not be stress-inducing like getting the correct headlight bezel for a '65 GTO. Hopefully you'll find something exact or close, but close should more than suffice.

oblique It looks like you have a premium membership. If you were to post a "wtb" in the sales sub-forum, I could offer to sell you a cable guide with screw from a 96 Cannondale R500. I think forum rules prohibit such offers in the general C&V forum.

(Also if you are adept at reading CDale serial numbers I woudl appreciate any insight...thanks!)
