I was at a resort once about 20 years ago, they had something similar to that trike as a 'free' rental, all you had to do was sign one out each morning. It was the most miserable thing I ever tried to ride. The steering was awkward, the thing pedaled hard uphill, and the canopy caught the wind pretty bad. After one ride to breakfast and back we decided the golf carts were the better option.

On flat ground, the coaster brake may be fine but they're asking a lot of the coaster brake to stop that thing with two people on it.

We have a sales forum for these discussions. You need to be a Premium BikeForums member to post there. The small fee helps our hosts keep the lights on. Also, giving monetary topics their own forum helps keep things civil.

I was thinking the same thing, I once used the Bimini top on my boat as a sail to get me back to the dock after the fuel pump died.
That thing reminds me of those wind surfer trikes you see on the beach. With the wind behind you, its a bonus, with the wind in your face you might as well be climbing a mountain.
