Just checked the tracking on USPS, it is still on it's way. Will post when received. I am eager for the crap that will befall me.

Chr0m0ly 06-22-20 04:24 PM

I have a group I ordered through Ebay, itís been wandering around Detroit for a couple weeks. I think the USPS is still running fewer staff, and itís making deliveries sloooooow.

BOC Folks,
Maybe the carrier is suffering from back strain....:injured:
Ben

Yes, USPS tracking showed the BOC bouncing around Detroit distribution centers for most of the past week!

Everything I've bought or sold recently has slowed way down. I generally drop packages in the lobby at Evanston's main post office. I'd say it takes at least 36 hours before tracking shows it as received, then it can take awhile (couple days) before it appears to start moving from wherever it was originally scanned. I'm sure USPS is hurting, both in terms of reduced staff and (ahem) flak from El Presidente and his minions.

noglider 06-27-20 03:20 PM

I hope the postal workers are healthy. I fear for them.

the sci guy 06-27-20 04:04 PM

My friend sent me a package over a week ago from NY and itís been bouncing around the Houston USPS system since Monday. Itís still not here and thereís no update to tracking since then.
USPS is the worst.

Looks like it’ll be awhile before my turn comes around, but the crap around here ain’t going nowhere. Mr. Crapmaster, please add me to the list!

Tom,
I just hope they are wearing the back support braces with the weight of the Box O' Crap! Smiles, MH

It's been many an age since I checked in here. I see there is a new crapmaster. Kudos

Hello all, the coveted crap container. I had some computer/phone issues come up recently that I had to attend to. The box will be on its way shortly.

Thanks!

Y'all ok?

Paging @romperrr.

Mad Honk 07-22-20 06:24 PM

Tom,
I fear for the postal workers who have had to lift the Exalted Box O' Crap, and hope they have not been seriously hurt in the transport of the BOC. I also suspect the excessive weight of the BOC has prevented more than one flight of the postal service from flying. Smiles, MH

romperrr 07-22-20 09:13 PM

Hello! The box is on it's way, tracking say it'll arrive 7/25.

O Mighty Master of Crap, the bounty is likely to land in the Big CrApple whilst I frolick on a northern shore. I beseech you to reposition my receipt of same, and remain eternally indebted.

Andy

Does the box contain any frames in my size? because i need one of those before I can use/swap any crap in the box.

Well Science guy,
It would help if I knew what size you need. I have two mid eighties Treks that will be leaving MH's stable this year due to his shrinking stature. 58cm and 57cm are just a bit too tall for the boys to fit comfortably over. Both are going to need repaints and MH is in a quandry as to whether to powder coat them at Pro Kote Indy before letting them leave or leave with some smoke damage in "as is" condition. Those 770s and the 760 (or was it a 670?) were great rides back when I could fit over them. Anyway some size information might help, and the co-op might have something appropriate for ya. Smiles, MH

Box arrived. Digging the new clear plastic cover:

As usual, it was filled with some useful stuff, barely useful stuff, and some truly crappy stuff. I've had the box hit my front porch maybe a half dozen times now, this is my lightest haul yet , as it just didn't have much I needed or wanted in it this time.

Can't have too many headset washers...

Box is on it's way to @natterberry

gugie 08-05-20 01:41 PM

Been awhile, @natterberry, did the box cave in your porch?
