1989 (?) Bianchi Axis

Needed to share my excitement. Just picked this up the other day on Craigslist and have only had time to take it out twice. The person I got it from said it's a '92 and he'd had it in the garage pretty much since he got it (a little too big for him he said). I've done some searching and squinting at a blurry catalog online makes me think it's more like an '89 (Suntour XCD 6000 bits). Anyone know much about these? I will take better pictures than these glamour shots soon. It needs a little spring cleaning, I'll probably swap the saddle for my brooks and match the bar tape, run a little wider tires, and add a rack for carrying garden equipment/my fly rod for spots near metro Boston. Thanks for looking!

Yes, it's definitely a 1989 model. Those graphics were only used in 1988 and 1989 and the serial number indicates April 1989 manufacture by Hodaka of Taiwan.
