I don't think anyone mentioned a bike co-op above, but I'm exhausted from a 12 day visit from son and GS, so I might have missed it. In any case, many locales have 'bike co-ops' where you can, in essence, rent space, tools, get parts like bearings, derailleurs, and other stuff, and get guidance from experienced folks for most aspects of bike maintenance. Here, in Chicago, the local co-op asks for $10/hour, IIRC. It's usually a bargain.

I’ve since removed the rear rack. Still set up to drop in as needed though.

That also made me move my light. It’s now mounted on a bracket off the fender.
