Cliff Shrubb frame

I have a Reynolds 531 steel frame road bike, made by Cliff Shrubb, with Geoffrey Butler decals. The bottom bracket is stamped CS 34. I wondered if anyone knew anything about how Cliff Shrubb numbered the frames he built, as a way to figure out when he made mine?

I bought it in 2009 from the original owner who had it built for him. I’m not sure when it was made but I’m guessing it was late 1990s - when I bought it had Shimano 105 STI shifters.

I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.

I have a Geoffrey Butler/Cliff Shrubb fram as well that I got from a BF member about the same time. Mine is much older (early 70's I would guess). Anyway. It is out hanging in the barn. I can dig it out later this week for more info if you would like (I am mining for something else in there as well).

If you think it might shed some light on how to date a frame stamped CS 34 then that would be great, thanks, but don't go to the trouble just for this.
