My Colnago Tecnos

Found this on local Facebook Marketplace. Will be changing out groupset for Campy Athena 11 speed gruppo, in silver of course. Saddle will go away for Fizik Antares. These are post clean up pics. Have already touched up chips in black lettering. Have plans for the missing brass colored details in some detail locations. For an Italian built frame, paint is pretty thick. Do LOVE the colorway! Doesn't show in pics, has a titanium Record seat post.

Love the ride and speed considering age. Pinched tubes are very cool! Old drive train will be sold. Shimano Dura Ace 9 speed, with Cane Creek brakes.

Does anyone have a line on Mavic Open Pro decals like on this wheelset? Have searched interweb high and low without seeing replacements.

Hi, very nice Tecnos. Lucky find with the seatpost too.I suppose you know that the Tecnos was Colnago's lightest steel frame and that the early frames had a rider weight restriction? I think paint touch-ups are a great way to go to repair those annoying little blemishes.

Cyclemondo (Australia) has Mavic Open Pro rim decals shown on their webpage. You can most probably get a frame decal from Cyclemondo too. https://www.cyclomondo.net/rim-decals-mavic
