I got it from my mother, she sang a lot when I was a kid. Plus we had to sing at mandatory church, back in the ‘60s & 70s. 🙄😉
I’m eventually gonna put together a nice light-weight radio or cd player on a front rack, so it’s right there in my face. 😁

Yeah sometimes. I've almost always got a song stuck in my head if the ride is long enough. If I am struggling taking a pull at the front and I want to set a tempo, I'll use that song as a cadence-setter. Usually I don't have enough breath to sing it then, but I can at least breathe the words as I exhale and, if I know all the words, set the end of the song as my time limit for pulling, so i don't get lazy or overdo it.
Songs with really complicated lyrics are best for pain, because they are the most distracting.

My wife was a coloratura soprano with the COC here in Canada. I'm not allowed to sing if we ride together (or be within hearing distance) because she says it's too painful. I concur. I prefer soloing in the car, it's less embarrassing.

I do recall on a long ass brevet, after too many hours alone day and night, singing made up verses aloud to keep the demons away. It was effective.
Some of my best cycling memories are rides with my middle school aged daughter on the tandem, who would sing choir songs as we rode.

Yup. Sometimes stuff I make up about whatever I see along the road. If I'm in a group ride and someone else is playing terrible music on a bike boombox I sing along with screwed up lyrics until they change the playlist.

For some reason, a lot of Elvis Costello tunes from My Aim Is True through his Imperial Bedroom album, and songs of my own original compositions from when I was playing in bands. Early Squeeze, too. Some John Doe stuff that I can really belt out. I guess I'm an early-80s kind of guy. My next door neighbor (also a music guy, former engineer and producer of film scores) sometimes overhears me singing whilst working in the yard or cutting firewood, texts me something like "Next time, try Oliver's Army a step lower, its more in your natural range." I haven't heard him sing yet, but I can't hear much of anything these days. 
But on the bike, it's only when I'm on the flats. There's not enough air when I'm climbing, and too much wind noise when I'm descending.

I used to sing for myself quite often. I've been in various rock and roll bands since I was in high school- I've always been good with backup vocals/harmonies, but I think I have less than a full octave of real singing voice- so there's relatively few songs that are comfortable to me.
So back when I was in 3rd Cav, I'm driving the company executive officer- we're in an M577 armored command vehicle- I have my head sticking out of the driver's hatch, he's up in the commander's hatch... I'm driving around singing "In A Lonely Place" by the Smithereens- then, over the intercom headset I hear him say "are you singing?" I realized I'd had the mic on my headset on. Oops.

The wackiest bit (which now happens with some regularity) is when approaching and crossing bridges:
"WHO'S THAT TRIP-TRAPPING OVER MAH BRIDGE? said the troll. It's me, the cycling billy goat! YOU'RE TOO SCRAWNY TO EAT, said the troll. YOU CAN PASS. And so I did."
Oh man I slay me.

Me sing? Can't carry a note. Of course there could be some little ditty in my head, could be anything, including Diddy.
What I do despise is some jack@ss with a can speaker in their water cage blasting actual music. It so kills the outdoor cycling experience.
