Wait a second? That has a Schwinn welded on kickstand!?!!! I don't remember that. I never knew Giant made bikes had the Schwinn welded on kickstand. I learn something every day.

When it is back together we'll want pictures and a ride report.
Thanks for the tip on the cable. Fortunately it does move through the full range of movement off the bike and seems to be in good order. Housing looks good too. I did read somewhere, maybe here, that a lawn mower throttle cable works as a replacement but do not think I will need that.

This bike also had Shimano Adamas ax cranks, which appear to be fairly light weight. Not sure if they all came with that or not but not finding much info on them.

Will def get pics and report on ride once it is complete. Thnks
