Worn Cyclone Derailleur

I’ve been overhauling a few derailleurs, and realized that the cage on this Cyclone is deeply grooved. I didn't notice that before I picked it up at the coop. Obviously, someone ran this derailleur while it was rubbing for a long time.
Dissappointing, but I don’t know if wear in this spot would affect the operation of the derailleur. Is this derailleur usable? Is it salable?

i think it'll hold up fine. others more picky might disagree, but i'd run it

It'll live. I'd use it.

Check the cage alignment. Maybe a bent cage caused it to wear like that.

I have a Cyclone GT in the parts bin with exactly the same pattern of cage wear. Mine is still filthy and I haven’t function tested it.
