Fleslider's Guerciotti

Just picked up this Guerciotti From what ive read on old posts this is probably a 1984 model, early one i guess with the block Guerciotti on the seat stays. but 1984 and later graphics. But please any Guerciotti gurus please correct me

Its got a mix of parts

Sprint (FD,RD, Cranks, Hubs)
Superbe (brakes and wrong size seatpost)
Campagnolo (Headset and Shifters)
I got it for a pretty cheap price for a Guerciotti at least. The bike was converted to flat bars but i will convert it back to drop bars. looking at the price of Guerciotti panto'd parts like a stem i probably wont go that way.

Being a big frame (63cm) I know its probably Columbus SP or SPX, I know with SLX it has the rifling in the tubing , does SPX have the rifling also?
Is my guess of 84 about right?

And now some pics these are as i received it minus the wrong size seatpost i threw this one in to verify it was a 27.0 not 27.2 , since no pics means it didn't happen!

Apologize for the pics, will get better ones when its not freezing out..

Very nice! My kind of Patina! I can't afford anything that looks flawless as much as I would love to have one.
Congrats!
the Colnago I picked up years ago had slightly worse rust condition on the fork. I dunked it in OA for 24 hours and it was all gone and looked really good at 5ft instead of 20! I also did parts of the frame that had the same results.

Have fun with it. I bet spring can't come too soon!

Thanks for the advice, i am gonna get rid of the little bit of rust on it, its mostly chipped paint that is wrong.
