Is “buttshark” still a term?

SJX426 01-08-21 01:09 PM

Sirius satellite radio antenna! Who wouldn't want one on their bike! We already have cup holders!

Chinghis 01-08-21 01:20 PM

I'm having great difficulty mentally putting all my pieces on that and actually riding.

It's a five-year old article, so I assume these haven't taken over the cycling world yet.

Edit: Oh, man, go find the R*dd*t thread on this thing. Some of the comments are hilarious:

"How many batteries does it take and how noisy are the vibrations?"

billytwosheds 01-08-21 03:35 PM

Ah the slender delta design. Keeps you on your feet.

BFisher 01-08-21 03:44 PM

Too bad about the typo, and a shame nobody caught it through production.

The E in Essax was obviously supposed to be an A.

Reynolds 01-08-21 04:19 PM

Looks like a BMW antenna.

RobbieTunes 01-08-21 05:19 PM

Surprised the mods haven’t removed it.

R&D heard the term "ass-hatchet" and thought this was the brief!
That's literal-minded Engineers for ya! :roflmao2:

it's clearly a spin-off from aerospace research back in the 1948. i.e. the Convair XF-92

Anti- theft saddle

Bianchi84 01-09-21 08:17 AM

It might be a kind of a "corrective" device for riders who tend to place themselves off-center on the saddle; don't want to risk back injury due to bad ergonomics! Ask your Sports Doctor to write a Prescription for it!

pastorbobnlnh 01-09-21 08:18 AM

Self-centering saddle :innocent:
