My first mountain bike was a Sterling bought from Mr. B himself,circa 1984'ish. I remember seeing some filet brazed frames he built,which were really lovely...alas my poor paying landscaping job at the time wouldn't allow for one of those..I did end up with a very nice lugged Reynold 501 bike.Man, I wish i could find another one of those now..John
