Bottom Bracket ID

Anyone know this BB origin? It’s on an early 80s Nobilette. Thank you.

Think I may have seen this once before, possibly "Eisho"? It's been long enough I have no clear memory (no surprise).

does serial indicate the sixtieth frame and a size of fifty-four cm?

Tim did not create a great many frames

iirc he may have changed careers shortly after this

Not Tim. Mark Nobilette. He’s still in business in Colorado.

Not sure on the serial number deciphering. I’ve reached out to him.

An EO within a diamond is the trademark of Otsuya Iron Works, a Japanese lugs and BB shell manufacturer

I heard back from Mark Nobilette - he's awesome. He sent me the full original build sheet. Bike was built in 1984 and retains the original paint and most of the original SR groupset. "Needs" SR wheelset (currently on "Sealed Bearing" CyclePro / Miche / Specialized with Wolber Super Champion Gentleman GTA) and some small bits and pieces (gum hoods, cello tape).

Bottom Bracket Shell: EO (Eisho)
Lugs: Prugnat S4
Tubeset: Columbus S4

The bottom bracket shell is not Eisho (Seisakusho). Their trademark symbol was an ES within a diamond.
