Cable routing ideas for this frame?
I’ve got an old steel hybrid that will probably get a powdercoat but it was equipped with a strange Suntour rear derailleur that threaded into the braze on further forward from the dropout. I’d be using a Shimano derailleur and I’m wondering if anybody has an idea for how to equip this frame with a housing stop for the rear derailleur housing, since there isn’t one.

That's a SunTour S-1 hanger. @rhm has one, I modded an old CERA frame for him to add it.

Is that a Schwinn? When I converted a Crisscross I just added a clamp on housing stop. If it’s like the one I did, there is a standard RD hanger under that guard.

yup, Crisscross. What kind of clamp on housing stop did you use? Can’t seem to find anything that small

ebay - select "cycling" for the category. Search "chain stay cable stop." You will find a dizzying array of them.
Your local bike shop is also a good place to look.
