Trek 730
I rescued a trek 730 Multitrack from a recycling center. I will be converting it into a railtrail/tour bike. I will ditch the twist-grip shifters and upgrade the risers to flat bars. By the cOlor scheme (ice cream with blue decals) it looks to be a ‘97.

The hybrids caught flak for being not mountain bike-y enough or not road-y enough- but they serve the "allrounder" purpose. You've got a good plan, looking forward to pix!!! |
Those Multitracks are nice riding frames with good paint and a functional assortment of brazeons. And excellent tire clearance.
