I do not have access right now but the Huret chrome shifters that paired with the Challenger set have a good feel to them, heavy, the shape and length is good.

the Jubilee shifter set is also not too bad.

not enough respect

Remember these? Rare birds from the mid-1950s, evidently an evolutionary dead end.

I worked at a used bike shop circa 1970, and we sold an old Follis with this setup.

I have always liked the look of these old Simplex levers with the big oval S-embossed tip.

Dura Ace AX
I like these a lot. Only issue is trying to grab a water bottle on steep hill. Its easy to accidentally bump shifter into higher gear.

Did you just pop out the indexing pod on an 11 speed bar end shifter?

yup transplanted the guts from an 11 speed bar end shifter.
you will also need to dremel a little off the shifter to match same shift circumference clearance as the bar con shifter.
