27.0 straight silver seatpost
So, for the first time ever I have too much setback using a Brooks saddle. That Guv'nor's frame is really relaxed. Looking for a simple 27.0 zero setback silver seatpost and seem to be striking out. What sucks is I just saw them somewhere the other day but my memory is terrible anymore and I can't remember where I found them.
I can find the Origin 8 but they have reports of breaking and I'm trying to avoid them. Thomsen was my first thought but I can't find one in silver and 27.0. I did try a 27.2 but it's a no go on this bike. Also trying to avoid using a kalloy straight post with the old school clamp up top.
Any one have any sources/ideas? Not looking to ream out the seat tube on this and while I can easily ship a 26.8 to work I'm trying not to go that route if I can find a proper one. Thanks!

HollandBikeshop has several options but not sure you would want to pay for shipping from the Netherlands unless you would also want to order some Sturmey Archer spare parts or something.
But know Ergotec, Kalloy and XLC make them.

I hand sanded a Thomson 27.2 post to 27.0 for my Phil Wood frame (which was sold to me as 27.2 (don't know how) because I had to have silver and really wanted MUSA.

I wouldn't worry as much about breakage when you're running the saddle near full forward in the seatpost head clamp/cradle.
It's more the bigger riders who run the saddle rearward in the clamp that make saddle rails bend and seatposts break.
Of course bigger/heavier riders also running the post near fully extended will impose higher loadings along the post itself, versus the clamping head.
