Giant Cadex CFR Campagnolo Stratos
Hi all, just stumbled upon a Giant Cadex CFR3 with a full Campagnolo Stratos group. The bike is in very good shape. I really like the Campag group, though at the time it was graded as 'low' and only offered in 1994, if I am correct. The group works well and the gearing is quite direct. The bike is made of carbon (frame) and aluminium (lugs and fork). I couldn't find much info on the Stratos group, so here some pics. Hope you enjoy.

Yes Stratos was Campagnolo's bottom of the line group in 1994 and only catalogued for that model year. It seems to have been targeted to give Camapgnolo a presence in the sub $1000 US market, where it would compete against Shimano 105SC.
I have a 1994 price list showing your CFR-3 at $999.95 US. It was 2nd in a 5 model road line (at least in then USA).
