Nope, we make em up as we go along, you want it here then it goes here, easy peasy just like always.

C+V rider, it goes here.

C+V frame or parts, it goes here.

C+V attitude, it goes here.

Period, IMO.

Jokes aside, I'm not one to say "no" just because it's new and I like the status quo, but I do think this extra forum is unnecessarily dividing. Too many bikes fall under both C&V and this.

I still think we should have a For Trade subforum though.

Wait, I thought I was voting against having a poll to see if we wanted to have a poll to see how we felt about the new forum....

I don't see a big need to keep things separate.

One might break Mechanics into components. So, Brifter Repair, Derailleur Hacks, Chains, etc. But, even with that, most readers answering questions won't be looking at a single subforum unless they have a specialized business in just that issue. And, on occasion, users won't know the source of their problems, or a problem could span several components.

If people use more descriptive titles than "We got a present for you.", one can pick up interesting stuff with searches as needed.

Call it what you want, we don't need to water any of this down, keep it all right here where we can fold, spindle and mutilate accordingly as we always have.

What's your preferred method? I find that a front hub stuck in a Bridgeport does really well for the spindling and mutilating, but it isn't that good at folding.

Bring those bikes back to our forum. Where they belong. Where they'll get viewed. Instead of being ignored in the ill conceived forum.

Well, that is because the photo was taken in the USA. If it was in the UK, I assure you it would have been a DS photo.

But, here, if I'm riding along the right side of the road and pull over to take a photo, it doesn't make sense to turn the bicycle backwards for the photo op, as if I was riding on the wrong side of the road.

Actually, I believe it was decided the drive side should take precedent over all things, whether they be current road direction, background, imminent danger by a charging bull, whatever...

Too many people on this forum find what I did to the DS on that bike offensive. Better to just show the NDS and let them imagine what they can't see.

Plus, you can see the spindly Titanium skewers which I've since deemed not worth using.
