I don't ever remember seeing that "parapull" brake (p45) anywhere, but it looks kind of like Campy Delta mechanism.

The DA AX is not really as elegant as Campy Deltas, IMO.

Sort of looks like a strange creature from the deep.

I found it strange that on p. 41, in the review of the NYC Bike Show, under "Schwinn," it was written that the Superior, (aka Baby Paramount) was made in Japan (not correct).
