Colnago Identification - Neuron Tubing??

A Colnago with Neuron tubing? Did such a frame ever exist? I'm looking at a beautiful build, but the tube ID is giving me pause. Thanks in advance for your opinions and expertise! New user, so I can't post pics yet...

Most if not all the original decals have been removed from this frame and replaced with a generic, modern-ish set which is likely aftermarket. Not sure, but the paint could also have been re-done. The Neuron decal is also a misnomer; this frame is likely SL. The model is probably a Super and likely mid-to-late 80s.

Looks like you are right! Any thoughts on the groupset? I added more pics to the album. Probably Chorus or Athena? The Rear Derailleur (with the upside down logo) is similar to some Athenas I have seen. Crank arm is probably a custom paint job.

Bikes: 1991 Centurion Oxygen, 1997 Centurion Invincible, 1995+- Fondriest Wind, 1982 Grand Master Nissan Pro 2000, 1992 Olmo Racing (The racing part of the name HAS to be a joke).

In Campagnolo´s 1993 catalog, the Athena brakes, was not yet monoplanar. They were monoplanar in the 1994 catalog (Velobase says 1995), but Athena had ergopower brake levers/shifters by then.
Chorus got the monplaner brakes in the late eighties. Late eighties makes more sense to me with downtube shifters, and the frame also looks eighties to me. So if the group is original to the bike, my guess would be Chorus.
