Vintage Campagnolo parts sellers

Who sells vintage (1960-1980) Campagnolo spare parts? eBay is hit-or-miss with regards to availability and quality. Currently I'm looking for parts for downtube shift levers, including a pair of 174 "Lever Friction Plates" and 610 "Twin Control Clip".

TIA

I have not found "one source" for parts. I use bike shops that have been around for a long time or eBay maybe craigslist. If you have a bike co-op in your area , they get stuff donated all the time and sell off whatever they can't use. This forum as well as others are great.

Pretty good source and they generally avoid the eBay wishful thinking prices.

It is getting harder, 20 years ago when I started adding to the number of bikes I owned, was easier.
they are not making more for the most part now, save repro hoods.

I would keep an eye out in the vintage bike FB pages. I see vintage shifters come up quite frequently, and it may be easier to just get yourself a complete set.

The more petite the part, the higher the value often.

Parts show up on the local craigslist, but prices meet and exceed New York prices.
FB... just say no.

Another Boulder Bicycle satisfied customer here. Check eBay for stores and sellers, they often have web stores as well.

Put your needs as WTB in the stickied thread for members here.

I try to find "donor bikes" where I can strip the parts. After buying a couple of parts off the Bay or CL I quickly learned that a donor bike (or three) can get me the spares I need. When I can't my LBS (Cupertino Bike Shop) or The Bay are generally my next choices.

I was looking for a Rally RD and I looked on line and decided it didn't make sense. When looking on FB marketplace, I found a bike with only NDS photo's with mostly Campy parts. It had a long cage on it, so I engaged with the guy, and picked up the bike for less than the Rally would have cost me. Plus I ended up with a fairly complete NR set.
