Hey Pcampeau That is interesting about the lack of cable guides on mine. Looks like the blue one that no67el has also lacks cable guides.

And yes, I'm pretty pleased about the Heron cranks being form a Lenton... I'm looking forward to seeing them on mine!

juvela That Speedic with the Ideale-style alloy rails is particularly intriguing. I spent some time poking around Japanese websites and couldn't find a single photographed example of one.

I did find this cool ad from 1966 though!
