I used to ride a similar era 312. Great comfortable to ride bikes.

On another note
My phone created a duplicate post; anyone know how to delete it?

That’s a nice little guy

Great score. Love the saddle and vintage grips.

Nice score! Just make sure the entry points for the aero cabling aren't cracked.

Nice find!
Your indexed shifting might improve with shift cable housing rather than brake housing, and a bunch less of it heading into the rear derailleur. If that’s your proper seat height in the last photo, sure hope there’s lots more seat post in the frame. My neck and wrists hurt looking at it. |

That is a longer seat post than what came with the bike but I have not even tried to ride or setup the fit yet. Rear wheel is at LBS as it required truing beyond my skill set. This is smaller than my other frames and from what I understand more suited for my height (5'8") so am curious how this will work once all put together. Also I can't seem to develop a taste for drop bars so I will be putting some bull horns on there. |
Looks like the 50cm frame size. At 5'8", you'd fit better on the 54cm size.

I've had two of these pass through my hands:
https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...9f77bb8343.jpg The Old Nail. I rode this until the top tube rusted out and retired it to a trainer. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...7a32e30123.jpg I got this as a frame and fork on the forums. Blasted and powdercoat, non-typical graphics. Top |
Cool paint scheme on the Old Nail there.

Those are real pretty!
How much did you buy/sell those for? |
While she is certainly smaller than the other bikes in the fleet, she is totally rideable (for now). Will likely swap the saddle once I repair the vinyl on the original one.
