Very nice sketch, painting or photo, whichever it is, love to have the real bike, if it was my size.

It is a "...real photo..." (of a cleanly drafted 1974 dated line drawing of a bicycle.)
(When are you, onyerleft , going to post a "real photo?" In the three years since you joined you have shared exactly zero photos real or phony.)

Yes, the sketch was the prize...... My late F-I-L was an artist and my wife looked it over and believes it to be an original not a print. Under a magnifying glass you can see brush strokes on the saddle and other large dark areas and they have texture. You can feel them and when you shine a light across them there are shadows. The artist was Paul Tankersley, he passed away in 1992 from AIDS. He was originally from NY which is where this came from but moved to Texas sometime around 1974. My guess is he did this before leaving NY, most of his art was definitely NOT my style but this was.

Nice. I met a person today with a really detailed, delicately inked tattoo of a high flange wheel with a chain sort of spinning out across her arm. It kinda reminds me of this style. I'm not a tattoo person, but this one was good.

Like that the front brake is controlled by the right brake lever! My style.
