After so many months and a few new bikes to choose from I couldn't come up with a scenario that would prevent me from attending this ride. Well, the germ gods came up with one for me. I tested positive for Covid on Monday, recovering well, but haven't had a negative test (nor would I ride with a group based on a first negative test). So, I'm out.

Take care of yourself!

Glad it isn't worse. Get better. That's an order.

While most Hospitals, clinics and offices will still require some, this opens the flood gates for those who don't want to.
I still wear mine most of the time in public, I am fully vaxed and still got it from the hospital when my wife had surgery in November, we both did.
She went back to work at the hospital this week and 3 of the people she is working with had it in the last month, I have also talked to half a dozen other people that had or know someone who had it in the last month.
And no new booster coming yet.
Its not/never going away and we don't need anything else dragging us down, if we want to stay strong, protect ourselves.
Be mindful and careful out there, this can still take you down no matter how strong we are.

The Few, The Proud
Lighter than usual attendance this month. I had all the riders line up their bikes at the rock wall for a pic...

What can I say? I waited till 10:05, but nobody showed up, so I went ahead. Y'all missed a fantastic day! It was about 60 degrees, clear skies, no wind to speak of. The Ironman rode like a champ!
Hope to see more of you - hell, ANY of you - next month!

I was about to post the same sentiment but probably with words that the censors wouldn't like. It's been changing day-to-day. I'm hoping for a shift in the forecast so we can get out there.

[QUOTE=SwimmerMike;22879707]I think I'm gonna ride regardless, but if it's wet, I'm taking the Cannondale, because it won't rust.

I'm going for the extra "Hard Man" points. I have to justify dropping coin on a "Showerproof" jacket SOMEhow!

Well, it didn't actually rain on the ride, but the road was wet, so the C'dale STILL got covered in grit. Let's cross our fingers for June!

Okay, it's the first Saturday this weekend and the weather is looking good. I wanted to pop this up hoping we can finally get a group out there after so many months of bad weather. Unfortunately I'm a low probability.

I planed to join the ride this Sat for the first time even though it's a 40min drive there. I am not aware of any CV bike ride in east bay.
