No, don't be silly - I didn't buy another bike (but I probably should've, huh?) - but I did discover this interesting one in my local park. I and everyone else has been ignoring the two-wheeled conveyance because it was as nondescript as could be, covered in black electrical and silver duct tape.
Somebody curious finally decided to unwrap it: https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...d987afa8a6.png https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...fa583e1f68.png https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...7285fcb3ab.png https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...161ada6dfb.png Somebody spent some time on that, huh? What an interesting and creative surprise under all the blah :) You can see more pics in my Flickr; I've only posted a smidgen here - see my sig for link. DD |

That is fantastic, was it hanging out untethered, seems odd that it didn't succumb to a worse fate either way. :twitchy: We need to find this artist and commission some work. ;) |
That is very cool.

Mid-1990s GT Tequesta with Shimano STX.

Probably stolen and disguised with the tape.

I like it. I’m not very crafty so I’ve been dragging my feet on doing something like that to my Ugly Betty. I kinda wanta decoupage it with old map sections

If I were to give that bike a name it would be
Peyote! |
You sure that’s not a Pegoretti mountain bike😃

Great trail bike!

So was it dumped there? The lack of pedals and brakes makes it a difficult bike to ride. That paint job is pretty sweet though, definitely took some time.
