Trek 720 https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rds...470867345.html
Cheap for a tourer around these parts. Likely to go fast. There are sharks in the water here trolling for Treks which they promptly flip for x2 or x3.

That is a good deal for the stump jumpers. Great foundation for a nice drop bar conversion but for big people!

Allegro Raineer
I'd pay $30 for this bike if anyone wants to pick it up. Or, better yet buy it for yourself for parts and satisfy this guy's curiosity and report back here about it!
Maybe these old Allegros were some kind of department store brand, or like BRC, a limited flash in the pan during the bike boom.

Hi there, that is a good assessment I'd wager. The frame has a near water level U-brake instead of up on the seatstays. Looks like a neat frame though with probably better than average parts. I haven't seen T-Mar around for a while and perhaps he'll weigh in on the origins.

Well, this Raleigh Competition - in my size, no less - happened. Brought it home tonight, and I'm very excited. It is far more original than I expected it would be.
