After years of languishing and passing from hand to hand, it is finally being restored. Spent time fighting and struggling with seized quill stem and bottom bracket. Finally done with that. Stripped old paint and addressed

Before was an interesting paint scheme but far to busy and trendy for me.

Reveal After new color and decals waiting.
a bit of rust.

today was a good day. Paint has been laid onto the frame. Super happy with the color and the decal combination. Decals are still in a bag and will go on after clear this week. Lugs will also get some detail paint done.

Super Record🙂. As a fully geared bike. It’ll be enjoyed as a single speed until derailleurs and brakes are sourced. That’ll be around may. I’m going to be really picky on what goes on.

Had such a great time and managed to keep all flying bugs off while spraying clear in the back yard.
Base coat is from MTN Gold line. Color is Denim Blue. Spraymax 2k glamour clear. Spent about $38 all in. Wet sanding and polish are next.
