Renaissance Cycle, Netherlands?

Does anyone have any experience with Renaissance Cycle in Eindhoven, Netherlands? They have a rather obscure part I’m interested in, but won’t respond to my emails.

Baron Corpuz has had a colorful past.
Probably will work out OK, but consider is a gamble.

"The Baron" is still in business? Wow, what a blast from the past!
If you're lucky maybe his wife (Marie?) will reply, she was usually the one more down to earth in my dealings with that duo, but who knows if they are still a couple.
Yeah it could be an adventure in nail-biting when Baron was working out of Benelux, then when he re-located to California (Santa Barbara and Santa Paula, perhaps other locales) he was slightly easier to connect with, at least for us in California.
If he's back in Benelux then all bets are off, IMHO!
Best of Luck!

Renaissance Cycle was the first online vintage store I ever discovered - way back in '95 while stationed in London. Never did any business with them, but loved to look at the old stuff (at the very beginning of my collecting days) - and they did have a small selection of "refurbished" parts which inspired me to give that a go, too. After I learned to strip and polish, drilling followed - all thanks to Renaissance Cycle's website.

The good ol' days :)

Cecile. She did play a role in getting the local bicycle coalition going and bike Co-op.
Three locations in SB, one in Santa Paula. Went to the open house at the first location, stopped in at the State Street storefront, and thought - this is on the road to ruin. Place was called The Bici. Lots of frames, lots! But not high name recognition.
State Street at the time was probably $8 per square ft per month... The Santa Paula store was attractive but out of the way and the local traffic save maybe one or two local folk would be flat repairs. Totally stumbled onto it.
Then, vanished. Recently a fellow on the CR group probably bought up the contents of a storage unit that could not fit into the container for Europe.
A disappoint that the SB venture did not Go. SB is paradisio.

Far as I see they're located in Cycling Café Cyklist, a nice place to be. There's a cycling repair shop there too (in the back) but I've never been there.

I think I have seen that website before, but never realized that they were in Eindhoven. Nice stuff in their webshop too, especially if you want to do a proper restoration.

BTW, it's Nadine. ;)

I've used them 6 times this year. Buying some of their obscure bits helped me complete vintage components that had sat in drawers for years. I even got some tiny rubber bumpers for the back of the Campy Super Record front brake to protect the frame. I'm based in UK so nearer to them, which probably explains why I've had no problem
