Very cool! What plans do you have for your Fiona builld. Here is mine pre chrome. Anxiously waiting it’s return. That will be a quick build as I have all parts on hand. All Dura Ace 7400 minus the quill, bars and bottom bracket.

Have not yet decided. You can see the frame on one of the latest pages of “Dating a Faggin”. It is a bit mottled but the paint is pretty cool if imperfect. The chrome is not good though.

Might ride it a few years then look to Restore/refurbish it completely.

Trying to pin down date of frame and tubing is difficult in the Faggin world.

It is good thing to enjoy your bike before restoration. I’ve spent time looking for help on dating the frameset and have come up empty. I’ve seen other Kings that are similar but not one that has the exact configuration as the one that is in my photo. The seat lug has a crown with SPX to indicate the tubbing. Seems to be a custom build using Silva lugs and bottom bracket shell. I’m just happy to have it.

Older Faggin here. No model name I would think. They were quirky that way.

Typical Faggin crown and lugs...

The cool pantoed head tube...

Redrilled for recessed...

Definitely enjoy it as is. The head tube is beautiful and that rear triangle will polish up nicely.
Enjoy!
