10 speed Chorus UT crank with Record 10 Speed groupset that was square taper?

So, finally getting around to the build on the Olmo frame I've had waiting in the wings for awhile now.

I have a square taper Record 10 speed groupset and a Chorus Ultra Torque 10 speed groupset.

What I want to do is use the Chorus Ultra Torque crank with the Record shifters, FD, RD, and brakes. I can't find anything that says it won't work but I want to make sure. Basically I prefer a 172.5 crank which the Chorus one is and it's got carbon arms that match this build better than the silver. There's also a minor tear on the bottom of one of the Chorus hoods as well as the FD for it being a clamp on and I need a braze on. The record meets this need.

So just doing one final check with the knowledgeable ones here before I start down this path. Any reason why this won't work? Thanks!

The group:

The Crank part number:

The frame as I plan to use it. Save for getting a new black stem without the out of place red on it.

I'm thinking black bar tape and black housing, want to isolate the beauty of the off white frame.

After my recent snafu with the Cannondale I want to make sure I have everything sorted out properly this time.

I replaced an old FSA Isis crank and BB with Centaur Ultra Torque crank and Record cups in a 10 speed Veloce groupset. Works fine. I did have a shop do the swap, but that's mostly because I didn't have ANY of the tools I'd need to do it.

Yes it works fine. I have a 10 speed Chorus group on this Serotta. I changed out the square taper bottom bracket/Chorus crankset to this UT crankset a few thousand miles ago. No issues.

this will work fine. The ultra tork crank is a dynamite part. Very solid.

Just install the outboard bearing cups and build it out from there.

you might add some Enduro bearings and an ebay crank bolt. you're going to need a 10mm allen socket and long extension.

Thanks all!

Turns out the one thing I don't have is the proper outboard bearing cups. I have one SR that's brand new yet says not to use with Record so I assume Chorus also. Then I have another Italian set that's used but look fine. Unfortunately there's no part numbers on these so I don't know how to check if it's compatible. Just ordered a new one in so the build isn't happening this weekend.
