Beautiful job, Greg at Cyclomondo, is great to deal with, highly recommended, and this is one location for simplex/Huret brake cables,

Drilling out the world’s best friction shifters that are no longer made will ruin their value and, if a mistake is made, completely ruin the shifter. I know you didn’t recommend it first, but I saw it mentioned a couple times in the thread and thought it worth mentioning. Not worth the risk IMHO.
