Remembering Veterans on November 11th
During my rides around town a while back, i found a monument to fallen soldiers. I decided to ride back there today to pay homage. Looks like many in town have done the same.
just wanted to say Thank You to the soldiers of the past, and those that are still fighting the world's evils today. The Poppy is the symbol of Remembrance in Canada. Wear it proudly. Lest We Forget https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikefor...7e8e0b638f.jpg |

I always say something proud and patriotic when anybody says thanks for serving or whatever. I figure it's something they want to hear so it'll make them feel good. I was just a grease monkey though... in a uniform.
Sometimes the nice messages are kind of cheesy. My Veteran’s Day group message from the boss: Veteran’s Day is not a company holiday – get to work. We appreciate and salute our veterans. |
