1988 Trek 660 TriColor Find of the Day
Showed up locally on Marketplace - a Reynolds 531 in my size just 30 minutes from where I live. Seller was asking $125, (which would have been a deal that I was trying to ignore), casually offered $80 or wasn't going to bother and to my wife's chagrin - the seller accepted...
has a bit more rust than I like to see and a very stuck seat post to boot. New Tires on some pretty straight Matrix 700 32H Wheels with nice TriColor Hubs.
Thought as of now is to tear it down, clean up the TriColor Group, possibly send it out to blast and powder coat in Ice Pink (like a Schwinn Prelude) . Papa Smurf may not approve, but pretty darn excited about the possibilities
