Nice stand, plus Triumph Palm Beach

Know anything about such stands? I'd like to purchase one or maybe make one similar.

Bonus points for
1) Not damaging the paint
2) Holding the bike steady and level
3) Both wheels off the ground
4) Aesthetic style

I found the picture at Red Devil Motors. According to Bike Snob NYC, Eric Clapton asked his Uncle to give him his Triumph Palm Beach.
I understand if you wish to discuss Triumph Palm Beach bikes, Eric Clapton, or BSNYC, but please try to get back to a nice bike display stand once in awhile.

A lovely stand. I will bet it is rock solid with lots of cast iron, a padded saddle for the BB and an adjustable arm for the padded saddle for the DT I would love it as well for my bikes. Here is a gross current artless adaptation (not mine!).

I tried searching but my methods sure weren't quick. How did you search? Thanks much.

My Googefu is strong (lots of practise).

Googled "bicycle stand", lots of matches, hit "images" tab, still too general.
Added "cast iron" in front of "bicycle stand" on images, bingo.

I find the images tab the fastest way to match things like accordion models and it works well usually when it's hard to describe something exactly but you know what it looks like.

What is the purpose of the rod(?) hanging down from the DT arm right at the 90º turn up to the DT?

Oooh, more info on another site (https://www.worthpoint.com/worthoped...lbro-492058545)

Offering a rare and wonderful piece of turn-of-the-century bicycling equipment, evoking the whimsy....and practicality....of the 1890's Cycling world. It is a Willbro (of) Norwich iron bicycle stand, featuring a beautifully-cast, double-headed Lion base, complete with finely articulated clawed feet, sure to frighten away any potential bike thief....and delight everyone else. This beautifully-made stand is complete in every way although the small wing nut which secures the position front wheel stay (the wiry-looking part) does not have the paint of all other pieces (it does share the same style and has a patina, however). Overall condition is excellent with no cracks or damage of any kind. Note: the stand's two main sections are held together with a single large wing nut and will be separated to crate a smaller and more compact parcel, more immune to damage. Base's footprint is about 11 1/2 x 8 1/2" and the stand is about 20 1/2" tall.

It sounds like you are referring to the front wheel steady. It pivots up to keep the front wheel from turning.

Awfully sorry juvela - they weren't referring to the legs of the stand. Instead 'twas a comment on my riding speed...
