Nice review! Thanks for sharing it!
I appreciated the background on Olmo and the small shop that produces (produced?) their top bikes. I've got a 1982 Olmo Competition, with nice details and heavily pantographed Campy parts. It does appear to be built with Columbus SP tubing, considering the stiffness. Rides very nicely too. A quick detail shot...

I couldn't help but notice the jersey shown on the first page. It looks quite a bit (sorta) like the jersey I picked up many years ago.
Here's a photo of me in the jersey (and with the Olmo) next to Steve Whitlatch at Mr. IAB's ride in the spring of 2018.

That was one of the rare IAB spring rides where it didn't snow.

Brother bike:
My Competition - No panto and a selection of 70's Record and SR Campagnolo, so must have been a frame only sale.

I only got a couple of rides in on my newly built up Olmo before the winter came in. Can't wait to spend more time with it.

Retromodern approach on this one.

Since people are showing here's mine.
This is the bike purchase that got me back to speed bikes. It's nice but it is twitchy 61cm seat tube with 56 cm top tube. My Olmo is Columbus Matrix tubing.
