Looking to buy a 20" 1962 Typhoon
I'm hoping to find and buy a 20" Schwinn Typhoon straight bar model, preferably in black. Any information from someone who has one to sell would be much appreciated. My bike as a child was a 62 20" Typhoon that I converted to a Sting Ray with banana seat and butterfly handlebars. Thanks in advance for your help.

Mike: Welcome, and if you aren't already aware of another site called " the cabe" ----C.A.B.E.---- (classic antique bicycle exchange), you should also check that out and post both here and there, now and when you do acquire the Typhoon you should share details and the whole story of where and how and the details/progress on getting it roadworthy and exactly how you'd want it when finished, etc.
Everybody loves seeing neat old bikes that one has to sometimes really seek out and find , & then to really spend more time overhauling it/restoring it, in a labor of love to get it to be exactly as they envisioned it.

SCHWINN CATALOGS are hosted on waterfordbikes site.......by decade groupings, so 1951-1960 and 1961-1970 and 1971-1980.....
so if you were to simply GOOGLE for example: 1971-1980 schwinn catalogs.......the waterfordbikes LINK should appear, ...same thing IF you were to GOOGLE for example 1961-1970 schwinn catalogs......the waterfordbikes LINK should appear for the 1961-1970 schwinn catalogs, and of course, the waterfordbikes LINK is the one that you want!
