Help With Freewheel Removal
Need some help please. What freewheel remover is required to remove this freewheel? I appreciate the help.

I modified a Suntour 2-prong remover to remove one of these, and the same remover now works with a few different brands having narrower notches.
The third notch can be ignored. |
Thanks! I just found some older threads that addressed this freewheel.

I have the exact same freewheel on an early 1970s Gitane Tour de France that I bought and refurbished in 2017. I don’t think that I overhauled the freewheel, just added some lube and cleaned it up. It works extremely well and got me through the 2018 CA Eroica without any problems. The TDF is still one of my favorites.
If you want to have a pro tear it down, clean and lube at a very reasonable cost, Pastor Bob is one of the best! |
