I forgot to post this one. It was raced by the original owner in the seventies. It spent its life in San Luis Obispo California prior to my purchase. It came with early Phil Woods hubs and still rolls along smoothly.

Final submission before I go to bed. 1990ish Pinarello Montello. Original purchase had Chorus HS with DA 740x everywhere else, 8v. Today after two converisions it has Campagnolo Racing T 3x9, Well almost. Still need to glue the tires on.
This bike was purchased from a guy who was selling it for his friends wife after his friend died. I took it for a ride and fell for it. Well over 5k on it commuting and other rides. The 3x9 has a story found here so I won't repeat it. There were a number of learnings along the way with gifts and infromation from fellow BFrs that is greatly appreciated.
The paint is rough but not the performance!
To all that have helped me, knowingly and not, Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, patient and being great human beings!

1973 Colnago Super as mobile industrial art installation:

Precursor to the bare-metal Casati. Acquired from a BF member via the FSOT thread, my original intention was to refinish it as a perfect match to my larger '73 Super. For various reasons, I canned those plans and ended up deciding to forego any kind of finish and to concentrate on building up a non-rider (well, for me anyhow - it's much, much too small). I further decided if it couldn't be ridden by me, why not make it into something more than just a bike? With that in mind I contacted the late Jon Williams who media blasted an entire Nuovo Record gruppo (sans hubs) to complement the frame.
The idea was to enhance the "tool" concept and steer away from the glitz and glamor of shiny anodized parts and a traditional paint job. Logos were added for identification purposes, but the frame was not sealed like the Casati. Instead, it was left in bare metal and the components received a thin film of Phil Wood grease to better preserve their matte appearance. The saddle came to me in a terribly-distressed condition, and I did what I could with the edge of an X-Acto blade; added the holes along the skirt and tied it up as it was splayed out like a banana. The brown bar tape was darkened to match (by dipping in coffee!) and the overall effect is quite interesting in person.
There are a couple dings on this frame, filled in with brass and silver. The lack of paint allows them to be seen, which I find pretty cool - shows it's been around the block and back a number of times.

Sort of controversial Frejus that was gifted to me by a friend of the original owner, who was the team physician for (I think) the Coors Light USA team. Controversial because it was from the period after the company had been sold but the serial numbers were unusual and some on this forum actually questioned whether it was a Frejus at all. I eventually put a fairly complete NR group on it and sold it off as it was too tall for me to ride comfortably.

Bottecchia ADR replica, a high-end tubing one with the chrome stuff. Really wanted this to be a keeper but ultimately just didn't ride well for me. This one was a real disappointment, beautiful but barely ridden.

1986 Tommasini Super Prestige, first purchased during my four-year tour in Hawaii. Originally finished in gray/silver "marble", it was damaged in a slow speed accident which snapped the FD boss halfway through. Once back to the mainland I had Domenic's Cycles in Tempe, AZ repair and refinish the frame in Guard's Red. The work was actually done by Tommasini (Domenic's had a unique relationship with Tommasini, who built and painted the shop's branded frames).
It was a bit on the small side. In order to make it work for me I ended up needing an extended setback seatpost (Corima carbon) and an ITM aerobar setup. Took it to Diego Garcia for my second tour in 2000-2001 where I regularly raced on it. In fact I took my only race win on this bike, in the configuration seen below, in December 2001- just two weeks before I transferred. The bike was later dismantled, the frame and parts sold over the years - again, too small to be a keeper.
Please excuse the fuzzy pics as they're both photos of photos, from the Days Before Digital.
