American BB Shell Track Frame ID?
Don't know if this should be going here or on the fixed gear forums. So I'm looking at this beat up frame on my local marketplace and was wondering if it's any worth restoring? Always been a fan of track bikes and would love to build one myself, if this is worth building that is. These are the only 2 pictures I got from the seller and he tells me that the BB shell isn't threaded. If anyone here can impart some wisdom on what it is exactly (or approximately) would help a great deal! It's on sale for around 30 USD.

I have reservations about this being a track frame. Given the very slack angles and unthreaded shell, it's likely just a very old roadster frame intended for a one piece crankset with press fit cups.

You mean that Ignatz Schwinn didn't win the Tour de France on an Ashtabula crankset?

Pretty sure it's mid 60's Murray product likely started out as a 3 speed since it doesn't have a coaster tab. One sure way to tell it is not a track back is that there is a hole for kickstand on the rear chain stay bridge.
