I find a lot of tool kits, patch kits, and old tubes at estate sales, even if the bikes are long gone. Theyíre usually in bedroom closet areas. Last weekend I found a Park Y wrench and a seat bag in a garage with the screwdrivers and stuff, but then found a matching tool bag with a Park 10mm socket in a ladiesí closet. Itís all very intimate and creepy, but sort of interesting if you can get past that. I think I got that Mafac pouch for 25 cents, figuring someone would think it was cool.

What exactly is that? Does it go in front of or behind the chainrings? Or is it, perhaps, a spoke protector?

Oh, here we go - I found a picture:

I received the BOC on Wednesday, but have been busy with some family stuff. I will be out of town for a few days and will send the box out to @CV-6 when I return.

The unveiling.

There was a lot of interesting stuff, but I'm trying to cut back so I left some things in the box that I might have taken in the past. The box is on it's way to CV-6.

My treasures.

I can't show any pics of any parts or stickers installed on any bikes yet, but I can share an image that has been installed in my brain thanks to the Box o' Crap.

I was reading my copy of News and Views when I came across some ramblings by Graham Hull, wherein he starts talking about lightweight trikes. Huh, lightweight trikes?

Go ahead and google Longstaff trike or Higgins ultralight and tell me you don't need to ride one of these!! Maybe everyone here already owns one, but I've never seen such a thing. Dig the double front brakes:

Box of Crap on its way to the next recipient. I did not remove anything for my own use. I did remove some items that I felt were truly crap. I have placed several items in the box that someone will be very pleased to find.

Again it is time to ask for more folks to sign up to play! It seems that all who play have some pretty good stories to tell about the experience of the Box O' Crap. I have yet to find some great stuff in the box when I received it. CrapMaster Honk

fords4life,
Please read the rules as outlined in the first post of this series. All players must have at least 150 posts to play and the reasons are delineated there. Please keep posting and ask again when you have achieved the required number of posts. Smiles Crapmaster Honk

All Crap-A-Teers,
Today seems to be rules day for me. As of late my phone lines have been busy with calls that indicate our players have been less than diligent in playing within the rules as noted in the first post. This game is designed to be self policing just like the work I do as a Professional Golfer. It should be on all of us to know the rules and play by them.
I took great detail in filling the box with use-able parts and parts that still have value in the C&V market. The first players seemed to do likewise and added very use-able items. However in the short twelve weeks we have been playing, the box has morphed into a box of junk that is unusable. It was and still is my desire to see good parts move to other C&V who will use them. I can only remind players to put in things that still work, and should work for our fellow players. I have communicated with a few players who will add some better quality parts from my stash here to keep the Quality Quotient up. However the game is to pass good things along to those coming behind us (and not to empty my stash of high dollar parts around the country; heck I could do that on my own). So I will take off my parenting hat and ask all of the players to please pass along useful parts and not junk. If needed please re-read the rules on page one and abide accordingly. Crapmaster "Your Honknificence"
