Oh, man, that was from me.

I mean no disrespect to the grand exalted Crapmaster.

It was back in the previous (or previous-previous) series of BOC, when I put that in. I always thought someone would take it, because it seemed like a useful thing and pulleys are cheap and easy to find. And I have had derailleurs with no pulleys and pulleys with no derailleurs at various times and I figured others would be the same, and maybe it would meet a good home and be united with someone's orphan pair of pulleys. Maybe the ethos of the box has changed a bit in the intervening years without me knowing.

Also considering it had been in there for such a long time, maybe it's not going to get taken. Maybe it's not useless because it's missing pulleys. Maybe it's useless because it's rapidrise.

I may have been responsible for the MTB stem too, but I've seen several of those come and go over the years. Threadless ones, same.

Sam,
The derailleur has been restored to it normal specifications. I wiped out my co-op's box of pulleys to reform the missing parts derailleurs, but all of them should be working and functional at this point. And again Sam, I think we have put this behind us, and are moving forward with the BOC. Of all of the items I removed from the box, they were either mismatched or non functional. Most of them were replaced with better or more functional items.
Crap-A-Teers please play on and enjoy your experience. Smiles, CrapMaster Honk

Here's my take!

Not pictured: Boneshaker Journal. I read the other British club journals that I got on the last go-round cover-to-cover; great stuff.

The top mount shifters will go on a Centurion Elite with a braze-on for those. It just didn't look right with the cable-stop-clamp-thingy above the braze on. Cool self-trimming function. I think the fd and freewheel will go on that bike as well. Oh, shifter cables too!

BB is crunchy, but good for sizing duties. 118.

Straddle cables for a set of XT cantis that I got without straddles. Good for getting the geometry right.

Stem and bottle holder just so I could make some room. That thing was stuffed! Nice job Crapmaster.

Tried to add some nice bits.

I can drop 'er off at the post office tomorrow, just need an address.

O exalted crapmaster -- I cannot resist another tilt at the wheel-o-crap! Add me to the list again, if you deign it so.... but as OTS is practically my neighbor (less than 5 miles away!) I am going to ask to rudely elbow the worthy ascherer back one spot and slot in after OTS so we can do a handoff!

After a consult with Tullio and a concurrence from Othon via my medium, JulesCW shall be allowed to move ahead of Ascherer in this instance. As it has been done before multiple time to conserve fuel and carbon waste by the Postal Service it is expedient to do so. CrapMaster Honk

The Box landed today. I took care of business immediately. Here's the incoming reveal:

and my haul:

I thought I put one Giovanni Valetti bookmark in the box last time, but couldn't find my second. Maybe I flubbed and put both in, so I took one out. I needed a velcro trouser band (can't figure out what I did with my other one). The straps will go on a bike to be named later (maybe just on my Univega, which has red accents already). The Flickstand will go on the Dawes which is my kickstand-less around town beater. The grips will either go on the Dawes or on the manubrio condorino on the Atala. The skewers will go to the co-op. I only took out those which seemed to me to be cheap Chinese parts. I left in the name brand skewers and padded out the box with other small parts.

Hmmm... PM me. How close are you to Niles, MI? I'll probably be headed to Doug Fattic's in the next few weeks.

Just checking in, looks like the crap is still flowing! Crap on! May be getting towards a point where I would want back in, but am still in downsizing mode, so most of my stuff is in outflow mode.

Crapmaster for two years, I fully understand. Hoping to swap larger value items for $$$, then I will look at the projects I have left and go from there... Plus lots of non bike stuff, going from 5200 square feet, plus full basement for storage/bike shop to 1700 square foot town home with minimal garage/storage space. Living the dream in Lexington KY now.

Oooo. A flick stand. Almost as fun as the tire cleaner thingies, and infinitely more useful!

Try this....

Some assembly will be required after use.

The Box O'Rear Derailleurs has landed. Stuffed to the gills as always. Going to try to do a bit of straightening and refurb the bracing nuts and bolts before sending it along.

The arrival beauty shots:

Surprisingly, I did not see evidence of yeast at work causing the box to swell.

The teaser...

I had thought that I had a RD ready to go into the box (as well as a couple other things), but seeing as how it came with so many, I have to re-think the restocking. The box might not shove off until Monday as a consequence.

oh - and there is no shortage of tasty bits nor of good old fashioned "crap"

p.s. the padded envelope isn't enough protection. the contents aren't destroyed, but they have lost some of their NOS vibe.

I have the box all taped/wrapped up and ready to begin its journey to the prairie tomorrow (Monday).

Here's what came out. I added a similar number/value of mostly smaller items - with one exception that I hope someone decides to grab soon.

One of my top 4 projects is this thing that came to me as a "3 for $50" package. I don't actually have a proper mountain bike, and one of those RDs is going to go on it (as it rediscovers its roots).. The other - and the brake calipers will go onto a funky city-bike build.
