Nice to see it made it to you!
A few strategic hammer blows this morning, and the liner is, well, a little less mangled. The crap is now all packed up and will be on its way to the next contestant probably this afternoon sometime. The haul:

Yes, I have liberated the Sekine dork disc. It was time. It will now hang somewhere in my workshop.
Lurkers and fence sitters, just look at what you miss out on when you pass up the opportunity to engage the notorious Box O' Crap. You never know if you don't play the game, and contrary to the rumors, repacking this thing is big fun!

Jdawg is the last player in line at this time. If you sign up now you can go to the front of the line. If we have no one to step up, the BOC shall come back to Bloomington again and be placed on hold until we get players enough to move it forward again. Please sign up now to keep the "Crap" flowing around the country to BF members. Smiles, CrapMaster Honk

Thanks! I think you may be right, though they'll work on my 105s I have here with a cracked plastic cage. And they're the LL size (pumping my fist)! They'll go on my '87 Fuji Roubaix.

The poop
After thinking my address would be the terminal dump, apparently two more victims have joined in line to relieve the constipation.
BFisher packed it chock full, and though he broke my heart by claiming the Sekine pie plate I was able to find a bit of stuff to clear some room for some fun sets of stuff forwarded on.
The Huret shifters are pretty and I think I can use these. The bar condiments were mostly to clear some room but likely usable, as is the little Shimano adjuster, the flick stand and the shimano pads.
The cables were not intended to be kept but they hid whilst the rest of the box was packed. Rather than open up, they will be used...I think they are barrel brake cables...

The reveal

The take

Ready for the next victim...

Minor constipation has given way to bowel movement. The crap has launched on to the frigid Midwest.

The box arrived yesterday afternoon. jdawginsc did a good job of packing the crap. It's going to be a challenge to fit everything back in.

Like a Tardis, it's bigger on the inside.

Thank goodness there’s still a dork disc! Perhaps a dork disc should be a requirement of the BOC, like a talisman - i know we all have them available!

It weighed a svelte 29.45 pounds at the PO. Mail person was amused by the BOC concept.

In the boxes leaner years I removed a perfect Suntour aluminum disc for a Nishiki project and was happy to get it, lol.

The BOC went out this morning to smontanaro. There was a lot of good stuff in the box this time around. It took several attempts to get everything all back in.

I took my time with the box, knowing the followup list is short. It's on its way to SwimmerMike now. I sensed a very powerful SunTour force with the box. I was schlepping it downstairs into the front hall when I encountered our letter carrier. I apologized for its heft.
Peekaboo:

My haul:

Peekaboo:

My haul:
- Pedals will go on my Dawes. Does anybody know who was first with this basic pedal design, Specialized or SR? I have several pairs of Specialized Touring pedals. They are my faves, but they are expensive enough that I can't really justify putting them on a beater. I might try a bit of grip tape on these SP-155s and see how things work without even half clips.
- The little cable end thingies will go on ... well, various cable ends (my Super Sport to start with who has a badly frayed rear cable). I've never been enamored of them, but I find "modern" super glue ain't what it used to be (more of a gel than a thin liquid), so I often find my cable ends are too fat to squeeze back through holes and housing, or still fray because the glue didn't soak in between the strands. I figured I'd give a few of these a try.

I grabbed a few things I needed for a few different projects.

most of it is for the Guerciotti I’m building for my wife. She wants an option for an upright setup and also a triple. So the long cage and the thumb shifters will go for that setup.
the box should be on its way soon.
Mike
